What is a typical Lord’s day for us? We meet at this building just behind Hardee’s. If you need help finding the location, our contact page has a map and worship times posted.
Come on in!
We start by breaking into classes for Bible study. If you have kids, downstairs we offer a class for teenagers and a class for young readers. Everyone else gathers in the auditorium. We organize our curriculum into quarters, in order to delve into the riches of God’s word over the course of several weeks.
After class, we all meet in the auditorium for our assembly, participating in various worship activities following instructions and examples we find in the New Testament.
We sing with our voices and our hearts (Colossians 3:16, Ephesians 5:19)
We approach the throne of God to speak to Him in prayer through the mediation of Jesus, our High Priest (Hebrews 4:14-16; 1 Timothy 2:5).
One or more men will present sermons that are based in the message of the scriptures.
We take the Lord’s Supper every Sunday (1 Corinthians 11:23-26, Acts 20:7) and gather a collection of money from the members (1 Corinthians 16:2) We never ask our visitors to contribute to this collection!
